We've been the designers on the other side of this…

A founder gets in touch. There's a product, a roadmap, and a date that has already slipped once. The screens work, roughly. The team knows something is wrong with the signup flow but nobody can say exactly what.

So they hire a designer. Contract signed on a Monday, everyone hopeful.

And then comes the part nobody warns you about…..

Three weeks of nothing…

SILENCE

No screens. No questions. A standup where the designer says "still exploring." Then a Friday presentation with forty slides, a new brand direction nobody asked for, and one flow that misses the constraint your backend has had since 2024.

Now you're four weeks in, the date has slipped twice, and you get to be the person who says it isn't right."

So what do we do instead?

Everything below is a real artifact from a real project.
Not a process diagram; the actual things that land in your Slack and your Figma.

Day 4. Rough but real..

First screens land in the first week. Ugly edges included, you should be reacting to something by Thursday.

Every decision, in writing

Every call ends with a recap and the next three tasks in your channel, before end of day. Nothing lives only in someone's head.

Built to be built

Components named the way your codebase names them, every state included + a recorded walkthrough your engineers can replay.

What we make

From the first idea to the thing people actually use.

See it yourself…

Real work. Real decisions. Real deliverables.

Here's a look at the kind of work that moves from Motiveo into your product, your Figma file, and eventually your codebase.

Okay…

You've probably seen enough by now. The work makes sense.
The process doesn't feel heavy.

The next step doesn't need convincing. It just needs a number.

One-time, or a monthly partner.

Fixed before anything starts. Kickoff within two business days of signing, first concepts inside the first week.

Still in doubt?

We're not going to show you a wall of logos we haven't earned or a testimonial reel from clients we don't have; Here are what you can check instead

Scope fixed in writing

You own it as we go

Files, source and access land in your accounts from week one; never held hostage.

Replies within 24 hours

Usually within four, from the designer doing the work. Test it before you sign.

One week to walk away

Stop after week one, keep everything delivered, pay for that week only.

The Things people ask actually.

Before we start, here are the questions founders usually have about working with Motiveo.

  • Most land between $3,000 and $8,000. You get the number before we start, and it only moves if you change the scope in writing.

  • Two senior designers; the same people on the call are the ones in the file. No handoff to juniors, no account managers in between.

  • Usually within two business days of a signed scope. Kickoff is a half-day workshop, with first screens by that Thursday.

  • We ship design by default and can add a Framer or Next.js build. Either way you get a packaged Figma file your team can build from.

  • Stop after week one, keep everything delivered, and pay for that week only. Scope is fixed in writing, so there are no surprises.

  • We overlap with US and European hours every day and reply within 24 hours; usually four, from the designer doing the work.

One last thing

Thanks for reading this far. Most people don't.

Motiveo is for founders who care how the product feels to use; and who've worked out that the expensive part isn't the design fee, it's the month you lose to a redesign that misses.

You don't need an agency. You don't need to brief six freelancers. You probably just need two designers who'll show you something real by Thursday.

Tell us what you're building.

Thirty minutes, no deck, no discovery invoice. You'll leave with a scope, a timeline and a number; whether or not you hire us.
